Amanda du Pont Biography
Amanda du-Pont was born on 26th June 1988 in Manzini District in Swaziland. She is an actress, model and media personality. She is popularly known as co-host of SABC 1’s celebrity gossip show, The Real Goboza with Phat Joe and Sinazo Yolwa.
Amanda du-Pont was born in the city of Manzini, Manzini District in Swaziland. She is a daughter Henry ‘Tum’ du Pont, son of Princess Ncabile, the daughter of Prince Mshengu who was brother to King Sobhuza II.
She was raised in Manzini Swaziland and later moved to Mpumalanga province of South Africa to finish her schooling.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in live performance from AFDA. In 2012 he was awarded a Diploma in Acting by the New York Film Academy in the USA.

In 2007 she was a cast member of a serial drama, Life is wild as Serina. The show was about a New York veterinarian who moves his second wife and their two sets of children to a game reserve run by his former father-in-law in South Africa.
She was cast on Muvhango as Thabisile Dlamini which was aired on SABC 2, a role she played for approximately 2 years.
In 2013 she appeared on City Ses’la as Khanyi Mbuli , A Place Called Home as Yolisa, Mzansi Love: Kasi Style as Khalipha, End Game as Suzie, Single Guys as Khuli and Intersexions as Khanya.
In 2014 she had a role on Task Force as Christelle Ndlovu.She also had a leading role on the South African feature film, Between Friends, when she played the character of Nisha- a ruthless gold digger.

Amanda du-Pont was romantically involved with a murder convicted hip hop star Molemo Maarohanye, widely known by his stage name “Jub Jub”. They later parted ways.
After Maarohanye was convicted and sent to prison, a photo of him and du-Pont was tweeted by DJ Sbu sparking a huge public interest, at which point du-Pont clarified that she had no gone to the prison to visit Maarohanye but had been there for a charity project.
