Nadia Nakai has been the talk of the country recently, as the leading female rapper has experienced a tragic loss. For the past two years, she had been in a relationship with male rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes, but it was reported earlier in the week that she had to bid farewell to her boyfriend.
This news has been met with sadness and sympathy from the public, as Nadia has inspired many. She has shown that despite her hardships, she has continued to be a successful artist and role model.
It's a sad day in South Africa after the events of Friday, February 10, 2023. This is because the country has lost the rapper; at age 35, he died alongside his friend, Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane, a food connoisseur.

In an interview with Sowetan, Nadia spoke about her relationship with AKA, and she said he is a good father and someone she would like to have more kids with in the future.
"He was respectful every time I'd meet him. We never had personal issues, and obviously - out of respect for my label boss, I would refrain from socializing too much with him". Nadia said.
"There wasn't a specific time when we told ourselves we were an official couple because we were excellent friends. We'd speak for long hours over the phone and share so much in common. We didn't plan to become a couple. It just happened...I've witnessed how great he is as a father; of course, I'd love to have his babies one day". Nadia added
Nadia said she wished to have kids with AKA, but sadly, her dream couldn't become a reality because he died before he could give her children. Kairo Forbes is the only child that AKA has.
