I don't know how many times I yelled, "OH MY GOSH!!" as I watched this episode unfold and certainly no one could have seen that plot twist coming. It was the status quo of course, a cheating partner and a desperate lover wanting to know the truth, it is a tried and true method of this show.
We were all wondering why the girl was so defensive about her new relationship. She had lashed out at them being there and disrupting her peace with her new boyfriend. It was stunning. To watch her have no remorse and question why the complainant was there. She was unapologetic about it.
She was furious with him for being there and was seen begging her boyfriend not to leave her.
He comforted her while Jub Jub ushered her now ex into the car. But it was not the end. By now we all know the story ends when there's more than one confrontation. They went back for the second round and that's when the biggest of the show came about.... A PROPOSAL
He proposed to her in the middle of the street, in the middle of all the drama. He decided that she was the one for him. Perhaps we did not have the full story after all? Oftentimes women waste their time and lives waiting for a man to be ready, but this week it seems like we were all being taught a lesson
Maybe the method wasn't the best but she got a man who wanted to be committed to her for life. The proposal set off more violence and the complanaint was more than a little devastated. He was speechless as Jub Jub drove back with him. There was hopelessness in the air as he was made to recount what just happened.
It's safe to say this week was messed up in more ways than one.
