Zola Mhlongo has confirmed that the most recent episode of Shay’ iRound was the season one finale of the show.

Zola “Zeelovin” Mhlongo took to Twitter on Wednesday, 30 June 2021, to confirm that the episode which was set to air was going to mark the season one finale of Shay’ iRound. The travel and lifestyle show, which premiered in April 2021 on SABC 1, featured Mhlongo joining families and friends as they explored a local tourist destination.

For the final episode, the show featured Mhlongo and her friends. The show spoiled the group with a visit to the Drakensberg, where they stayed at the Cathedral Peak Hotel. The hotel describes itself as, “Nestled in the unspoiled surroundings of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg mountain range lies Cathedral Peak Hotel, one of South Africa’s premier resort hotels.”

In light of the season finale, Mhlongo affirmed that she is hoping to return to screens, should the show be renewed for a second season. Details on whether the show will return for a second season have yet to be shared.
