e.tv’s Rhythm City has begun sharing snippets from the soapie’s final episode, ahead of the airing on the channel.
e.tv’s Rhythm City took to Twitter on Friday, 16 July 2021, to share snippets and details of the conclusion of the soapie. The upcoming episode marks the end of the road for the soapie which took over from e.tv’s flagship show, Backstage, back in 2007. For over 14 years, the soapie has been the flagship show for the channel even before the beginning of the second hit soapie on the channel, Scandal!.
According to a statement released by the broadcaster on Wednesday, 14 July 2021, “This week will showcase a tale with beautiful endings- from Jafta and Fats finally finding the love of their lives, to Sabelo and Sindiswa moving into their very own home, and Suffocate ending up sharing a prison cell with Khulekani.”
However, a touching detail shared with the promotional posts was the conclusion from original castmates, Mduduzi Mabaso and Mpho Molepo. The two play the characters of Suffocate and Fats, respectively. It seems that the soapie will conclude with the two sharing a touching moment, considering that the show did begin with Suffocate’s storyline in Diepkloof.
