Zodwa Wabantu took to Instagram on Monday, 5 July 2021, to share a post. The post was of the reality star documenting how she booked herself into rehab. This is not the first time that Wabantu has done this. In May 2021, the star shared a similar post. In the first post, she showed herself filling in the supporting documents to check in.
However, in subsequent posts, Wabantu was seen continuing to work outside of the supposed centre. In light of being questioned about her rehab stint, Wabantu claimed to be an outpatient. Yet, Wabantu seemed to carry on as normal in the outside world. Her latest post showcased her enjoying being hosted on a yacht. Now, it seems that whatever happened on the yacht triggered the star. This is if her post is in earnest.

The video shared by Wabantu suggests that her stint in rehab is part of her continued stance of pushing the envelope when tasked with promoting a brand. This is as the star seems coached in her speech, with a voice behind the camera being heard helping her with her words.
Moreover, the bag she packed looks and sounds hollow from the way she carried it. Additionally, considering that reaching out for help with substance abuse is seen as the last resort, as explained by Wabantu, her demeanor would suggest something different.
