Idols SA confirmed Zwai Bala


Idols SA has confirmed that the next guest judge to join the panel is music veteran, Zwai Bala, who marks the fourth guest judge of the season.

Mzansi Magic’s Idols South Africa (SA) took to Twitter on Thursday, 29 July 2021, to confirm the next guest judge set to join the judging panel of the show. The post confirmed that TKZee member and acclaimed producer and songwriter, Zwai Bala is set to join the judging panel in the fourth episode of the new season. The show is still focused on the auditions for the top 32, who will make it to the live performances.


Bala’s addition to the judging panel is expected, in light of him having judged and worked with similar hopefuls on Idols SA and shows with a similar format in the past. Therefore, more than speaking from the perspective of a recording artist that has already made their mark in the mainstream music space, Bala could arguably also pinpoint potential which might not be polished yet.

With Bala being the fourth guest judge of the season, he follows Ringo Madlingozi, Ntokozo Mbambo and Prince Kaybee.
