Focalistic has asserted his intention to break into the Nigerian music scene, as he continues to work with Nigerian artists, including his latest single with DJ Neptune.
As the song breaks into the chorus in the video, DJ Neptune can be heard affirming his beliefs that the single will chart at number one upon release. The song is arguably hinged on Focalistic’s rap style, which showcases the rapper’s versatility. This is as Focalistic raps in Sepitori and includes Nigerian phrases and words. However, due to Focalistic not changing his flow as he mixes the languages, the verse comes across sleek and coherent.
The video being shared and the confirmation of the imminent release of the single affirms Focalistic’s continued efforts to dominate the African market. Currently, it seems that his focus is on infiltrating the Nigerian market, which is one of the biggest music markets in Africa. Moreover, considering the trajectory of artists from Nigeria that have broken the international market, like Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Burna Boy, it seems that Focalistic has aspirations of following a similar path.
