Thabethe has a residency in Johannesburg, however, her Instagram Stories revealed that she was in Cape Town. Due to the fact that the former Top Billing personality has not revealed the identity of the man in question, the matter of whether the trip was a vacation or her visiting her partner is still unclear.
However, the star did confirm that after spending the weekend with her boyfriend, she believes that the mystery man is “the one.” The post hinted that the star might be open to the possibility of getting engaged to the man. If they were to get married, it would mark her second marriage. Before making an influential name for herself in the industry, Thabethe was the wife of television presenter, Andile Ncube.
Their short-lived marriage allegedly ended due to Ncube’s public infidelities. However, Thabethe has never confirmed the allegations. Moreover, the star came to his defence when it was alleged that their marriage ended because of his sexual orientation, which Thabethe allegedly discovered after finding him in bed with another man. Thabethe denied the rumours, and has asserted that she and her exes still maintain a cordial and platonic relationship.
