Mzansi Magic’s Gomora ended on a cliffhanger, as it shared the return of original cast member, Ama Qamata, in light of her brother, Langa’s passing.
Mzansi Magic took to Instagram on Wednesday, 30 June 2021, to confirm the return of original Gomora cast member, Ama Qamata, who has reprised her role as Buhle. Buhle is Thathi’s daughter, played by Katlego Danke. In the world of the soapie, Buhle left for Cape Town to stay with her paternal grandparents after finding out that her grandmother, Mam’ Sonto, played by Connie Chiume, has a secret life.

However, it seems that Buhle is back temporarily in the world of Gomora. Buhle returned because her brother, Langa, played by Siyabonga Xaba, passed away.
Currently, the show is focusing on the rift between the Molefes and the Dlaminis, as Langa’s parents are fighting over who has the right to bury their deceased son. Therefore, it is unclear how long Qamata will be in the world of the telenovela, or whether the production will attempt to explore a storyline led by the budding actress.
