THE entire South African hip-hop industry was left shaken by Big Xhosa’s diss track. SOS RSA is also known as Big Xhosa is trending, not to be confused with rapper “Imali Eningi” Big Zulu. The song, which was posted on YouTube and gained momentum over the weekend, took aim at most Mzansi rappers including the international acclaimed Nasty C, AKA and Cassper Nyovest.
Big Xhosa has been branded as a rap comedian; someone who raps but uses comedy episodes in his raps. He shoots all rappers except his inspirational name Big Zulu and AKA.
Some people speculate that Big Xhosa did not choose to disband AKA because he is still mourning the untimely passing of his fiancé.
On his distortion track, he points out flaws within the South African rap scene.
He released an impromptu track titled “ninyile” in which he tried out the iconic Tupac diss track titled “hit em up”.
He took a moment to criticize the richest rapper on the scene, Cassper Nyovest for his goat beard, and Cassper was quick to retaliate.
According to Big Xhosa’s tweet, Cassper Nyovest referred to it as “1 Pac” hinting that Big Xhosa would never measure the capacity of 2pacs. After Big Xhosa proclaimed he was named 10 Pac because he is 5 times better than 2Pac. He also took a moment to criticize the richest rapper on the scene, Cassper Nyovest for his goat beard.
Cassper was quick to retaliate.
Big Xhosa is not afraid to create enemies both from left to right and from center. He referred to rapper A-Reece as a girl.
