Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for classes 10 and 12 exams, and following suit were other states as well, and the schedule is now out. While the exams in Kerala will be conducted in March, as was scheduled, states like Assam, Andhra Pradesh, and others will perform them in May, given the pandemic.

Hindustan Times compiled a list of state-wise exam dates. Here's detailed information on the state-wide schedule of classes for the 10th and 12th exams!

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams

As for CBSE, the exams will take place from May 4 to June 10 instead of the ongoing pandemic to ensure safety. The class 10 exams for CBSE students will take place from 10:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon. However, regarding the class 12 exams for the CBSE candidates, they will take place in two shifts - one from 10:30 to 1:30 and the other in the afternoon shift, i.e., 2:30 pm. Candidates will write their English elective on their first day of exams on May 4.

Bihar Class 10 and 12 Exams

The intermediate exams for class 12 started from February 1 in the state, while the matric exams, i.e., class 10, will occur from February 17 to 24. As far as the schools are concerned, they will have internal science and social science exams. The marks for those subjects will be assigned based on activities and project work.

Assam Class 10 and 12 Exams

The HSLC and HS exams for Assam will take place in May 2021. As for class 10, the exams will begin on May 11, and for class 12, they will kickstart on May 12. Subjects having practical exams will happen in March. Meanwhile, the results for both exams will be announced in July between the 7th and 30th.

Andhra Pradesh Exam Dates

The state's intermediate (first and second year) exams will kickstart from May 5, while the SSC exams will take place from June 7 onwards. Meanwhile, the practical exams for intermediate students will take place from March 21 to April 24, while the exams for ethics and human values will take place on March 23, and the exams for environmental education will take place on March 27. The SSC students have 7 subjects; while the languages and group subjects will have 100 marks each, the science papers will carry less than 100 marks.

Telangana Exam Dates

The SSC exams for Telangana will begin on May 17 and continue until May 26, 2021. As far as the intermediate exams for the students in the state, they will take place from May 1 to May 20. Meanwhile, the practical exams are dated from April 7 to 20, with the ethics and human values paper on April 1 and the environmental education paper on April 3.

Gujarat Exam Dates for Class 10 and 12

The the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) exams will begin on May 10. The exams will be conducted from 10 am to 1:15 pm for class 10 candidates between May 10 and May 20.

As far as class 12 exams are concerned, they will take place in three shifts for the general streams between 10:30 am and 1:45 pm, 3 pm and 6:15 pm, and 3pm and 6 pm for vocation tests. The exams will go on until May 25, while the exam time will be 3 pm to 6:30 pm for the science stream and go on until May 21.

Odisha Exam Dates

The HSC exams for Odisha students will occur between May 3 and May 15, while the exams for Madhyama Sanskrit will be conducted between May 3 and May 12.

Uttarakhand Exam Dates for Classes 10 and 12

The UBSE exams for class 10 and 12 will take place from May 4 to 22 and will be divided into two shifts - 8 am to 11 am for class 10 students and 2 pm to 5 pm for class 12 students. Meanwhile, the practical will be conducted from April 3 to 25, and the results will likely be out by July 15.

Jharkhand Exam Dates for Classes 10 and 12

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) also revealed the secondary, intermediate, and class 10 exam dates. The exams will be conducted from May 4 to 21, with the class 10 exams in the morning shift from 9:45 am to 1 pm and class 12 exams from 2 to 5:15 pm.

Maharashtra HSC and SSC Exam Dates

Maharashtra will begin conducting the exams in April and will continue until May. The HSC exams will take place from April 23 to May 29, while the SSC exams will be conducted from April 20 to May 31. As for the results will likely be announced in August for SSC and sometime around the end of July for HSC.

Kerala Exams for Class 10 and 12

The SSLC and HSC exams for Kerala will start on March 17 and continue until March 30. As far as the rest of the classes are concerned, no exams will take place, classes have been canceled, and the government has announced that it will promote students further.

Karnataka Exams for Class 10 and 12

Karnataka's second-year pre-university exams will take place from May 24 to June 20, while the SSLC exams are slated to take place from June 14 to 25; as for the classes for students appearing for the board exams, classes 9 and 10 and first and second-year pre-university started on February 1.

West Bengal Exams for Class 10 and 12 Exams

The madhyamik exams for students in the state will take place from June 1 to 10, while thoseaforadhyamik students are to start from June 15. As for the schools, they are to begin from February 12 for students in classes 9-12.

Chhattisgarh Exams for Class 10 and 12 Students

The second and senior secondary exams for the students in the state will be conducted from April 15 to May 1 and May 3 to 24, respectively. As for the practical exams, they have started from February 10 and will go on until March 10 in different shifts.

Goa Exams for Class 10 and 12

The Higher Secondary School Certificate exams and the Secondary School Certificate exams will take place in April, with class 12 exams from April 26 to May 15 and class 10 exams from May 13 to 31. The practical exams for HSSC students will happen from April 1 to 24, and SSC exams will occur from April 5 to 30.

Tripura Board Exams for Class 10 and 12

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education will conduct the exams for class 10 students from May 18 to June 4, while the higher secondary board exams will occur from May 18 to June 11.

Uttar Pradesh Exams for Class 10 and 12

The intermediate practical exams for the students will take place in February, with the exams being divided into two phases - the first will start on February 3, while the second will begin on February 13, with states allotted to the phases. As far as the exam dates are concerned, they are expected to be announced soon.
