About Rick D Davis, DDS
Dr Davis grew up the son of an Air Force pilot. He attended the University of Washington after graduating from high school in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating, he entered the Air Force as a general dentist in 1978 until retiring from active duty in 1999.
During his two decades of Air Force career, Dr Rick served as a clinical instructor, research director, and lecturer for twelve years. He completed the Air Force one-year AEGD residency and a two-year Advanced General Dentistry Residency during his tenure. He further completed a fellowship in biomaterials at the University of Indiana.
He is the author of numerous scientific articles, research abstracts, and book chapters. Also, he has lectured on several scientific topics. He finalized the graduate program in endodontics at the University of Oregon in 2001. To date, he works with his Air Force colleague and friend, Dr Rick Shwartz, at their private practice, specializing in endodontics.
