Anurag gets inebriated after drinking with Vikral. Ragini somehow gets him into the bedroom and changes his clothes. Shristi overhears some women commenting about her and Shekhar’s relationship. On the day of the ‘nag panchami’, Anurag, Ragini, Shristi, Vishu, Ranveer and Suman reach the temple for ‘puja’. Shekhar hires some goon to teach Ragini a lesson. However, he worries that Shristi might get caught up in the chaos, so he meets up with her at the temple.

Nimki Devi visits the Singh family and makes some vile allegations against Shristi and Shekhar. Revati takes the bait and decides to check up on Shristi. She announces that if Shrsiti turns out to be innocent, then she will bring her back into the house else they are cutting all ties with her.

The world becomes a Ring of Fire when you find yourself surrounded by two people who are desperate to marry you and their pushy, over-involved families.
This is the heat that causes the lead character Anurag Singh to sweat.
He's played by Ankit Gera of Young Dreams and he's an MBA Graduate. *Think posh accent*: Anurag studied in London you know.
He returns to his hometown in India where Srishti (Simraan Kaur) and Ragini (Yukti Kapoor) become his future.
Srishti = a softly spoken, traditional law student.
Ragini = the opposite: bold, brash and spoilt. She's so spoilt that her father's prepared to commit a crime to fulfil her wishes.
Anurag's family arrange his marriage to Srishti but then, on their wedding day, Ragini's father finds a way of forcing Anurag to marry Ragini instead, leaving Srishti at the altar solo.
To save Srishti and Anurag's families from the shame-of-it-all, Srishti marries Anurag's mentally challenged brother Vishu (Mohak Khurana).
There's no romance between them but they become close friends.
Which is especially important when a hitman tries to kill Srishti.
