The ideologist and co-founder of the Israeli-Jewish Congress, Mikhail Peleg, was honored and rewarded with a certificate of appreciation by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This award was given for significant contribution and active work in strengthening friendly relations between Germany and Israel.
For
many years, Mikhail Peleg has faithfully fulfilled his job, supported and
cooperated for development of cultural and social ties between Israel and
Germany.
Mr.
Peleg commented on his award: “I believe that today Germany is the most
important and reliable ally and faithful partner of Israel in Europe.”
Also,
Mr. Peleg expressed his gratitude to the governments of Germany and Israel for
their great contribution to the development of friendly relations between
nations.
