The top sixteenth contestants on 2018 Idols SA‘ season 14 have been revealed!
The competition was narrowed down to the top 32 and tonight, the judges – Randall Abrahams, Somizi Mhlongo, and Unathi Msengana. – have cut seventeen singers and sent them home.
The Idols SA live shows are set to begin next week (26 August 2018) and at that point, South Africa will have all the say in who stays and who goes home every week.

The sultry voiced Mnqobi lives and breathes music. Before entering Idols he plied his trade as a performer in and around his hometown of Piet Retief in Mpumalanga. Hailing for little known small town Postmasburg, Thatho travelled a remarkable 14hours to his Cape Town auditions. The arduous trek paid off though as the former barber found himself sailing through the duets and solos to firmly cement his place in the Top 16. It comes as no surprise that Dalene’s favourite singer is former Idols contestant and Top 16 alumni, Shekhinah. The BCom student is also no stranger to bright lights as she previously worked as a part-time performer around Johannesburg.
