She is a seasoned actress and vocalist and in the wake of taking a break from the little screen for some time, KB influenced her TV to return on SABC2's 7de Laan.
In an ongoing meeting, KB who turned into an easily recognized name for her part on Rhythm City clarified why she went up against the part on 7de Laan prior this year saying the move was essential for her image
“As an actor, I thought because it’s something that people don’t expect from me, it will give people a fresh perspective of me and my range,” she said.
“We did Afrikaans in [the erstwhile] Bophuthatswana [homeland]. So I just thought to myself that I am a South African and the story is South African, there is nothing wrong with being part of the show. I just wanted to introduce myself to people who have never seen me before,” she added.
KB says she was hoping people who see her on TV would become fans of her music as well. “People who see me on television must be able to also come to my concerts.”
