5 Things You Need To Know About Incoming First Lady Dr. Tshepo Ramaphosa!

 For the past nine years, we had been spoilt for choice with First Ladies, we had five to be exact.

Now that Zuma is gone, there’s a new and one First Lady in town and she has quite a resume. Here are five things you need to know about the Mrs Ramaphosa.

1. Tshepo Ramaphosa is a qualified medical doctor. She completing her Master of Public Health in Maternal Child Health and Aging at Harvard School of Public Health. She also holds a Social Entrepreneurship Programme certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
2. Dr. Ramaphosa has worked in both private and public hospitals in South Africa and Zimbabwe. She has served as the chairperson of Gauteng health department’s Accreditation Committee, and works for numerous nongovernmental and nonprofit organizations.
3. She is mining magnate and Mamelodi Sundowns owner, Patrice Motsepe’s sister. Tshepo’s sister, Bridgette Radebe, is married to former Transport Minister Jeff Radebe.
4. Tshepo and Cyril Ramaphosa have four children together and their family home is in Chiawelo, Soweto.
5. The first couple reportedly own a luxury R30-million mansion at the foot of Lions Head in Cape Town.
