Ntsiki went on to say celebs like to protect their images whilst artists are not scared to speak out on social issues. She went on to use the Kardashians as an example.
“There is a difference between celebrity and art, artists create and celebrities play dress up. The difference between artists and celebrities: Lauryn Hill is an artist, Kim K is a celeb,” Ntsiki said.
According to Ntsiki, artists in South Africa are not given enough respect because the country is obsessed with celebrities.
