Talk of the town ‘money fight’ between world class fighters Floyd Mayweather and Conor Mcgregor will come off on August 27, 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas USA.
Reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Five division Champion Mayweather will lock horns on the D-day to prove who is who in the world of combat sports.
40-year-old Floyd who remains undefeated with 26 knockouts, will be coming out of retirement age to fight Conor. 29-year-old Mcgregor, on the other hand, will be making his professional boxing debut in the fight, as he holds no boxing experience. He, however, holds a 21-3 record in the octagon.

Now to the more interesting part, the fight will be viewed by all DStv subscribers whose accounts are up and running. Irrespective of the package, a pop-up channel -213 will be available to all DStv customers from Premium to Access and will go live on Saturday (August 19).
The channel will broadcast daily from 5 pm to 1 am until the eve of the fight on August 27. According to the General Manager of Multichoice Ghana,&nnbsp;Cecil Sunkwa Mills the pop-up channel is another value-added established to show that the company has her customers’ interest at heart.
Sunkwa assures that the company will continue to make improvements and add more value for DStv customers. SuperSport will cross over to Las Vegas at 11 pm for the undercard with the big fight expected to start after 3 am.
Highlights of the fight will be available on DStv Catch Up in the hours after the event – this will be on your decoder, or via DStv Now. DStv Catch Up Plus, available on connected Exploras, and Catch Up on DStv Now, will carry the full fight later in the day.
There’s more, channel 213 will have an amazing schedule with re-runs of several of Mayweather’s great fights, his visit to Africa in 2014 and the popular All Access shows, which offer a fly-on-the-wall viewing experience.
The DStv Mayweather fight channel will also be open to show subscribers while the 40-year-old is called the Money Man; his famous expensive lifestyle and trash-talking.
The pop-up channel was actualized as a result of the massive attention and prominence which the ‘Money Fight’ has gotten. Mayweather vs Mcgregor combat has garnered international attention with fans and media alike drawn to the radiant personalities of both contestants.
