Generations: The Legacy stars Zöe Mthiyane and Rapulana Seiphemo are said to be enjoying a more than cosy relationship, raising eyebrows on set.
The two actors, who play on-screen lovers Tau Mogale and Zitha Radebe in the SABC1 soapie, seem to have taken things a notch up.

The duo’s off-screen romance has been noticed by fellow actors and crew at the SABC Henley Studios at TV Park in Auckland Park.

Sources on set told Sowetan that the pair had grown closer together since they started shooting their on-screen love scenes.

Another source said Seiphemo and Mthiyane spent a lot of time in each other’s dressing rooms, and that last week they stepped out together to attend a public event in Orlando, Soweto.

Curious fans were stunned to see the two cosying up at the opening of a hair salon.

The establishment is said to belong to a former Generations hairstylist.

The opening was also attended by Seiphemo’s close buddy and actor/comedian Kenneth Nkosi.

Generations: The Legacy spokeswoman Gaaratwe Mokhethi refused to comment, saying she didn’t speak on the personal lives of actors.

Mthiyane’s last relationship was with The Lion King producer Lebo M, who is the father of her daughter. They broke off their engagement dramatically and have had sparring episodes over the wellbeing of the child.

Attempts to get comment from Mthiyane were unsuccessful as she hung up on Sowetan, while Seiphemo’s phone rang unanswered.
