In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Charlize remembers which sports she played growing up in South Africa.
The Atomic Blonde actress shared that SA has “unusual” options for sport. She then went on to describe which unusual sports naming netball and korfball.
“In South Africa a similar game that’s played that looks like basketball with a basketball-esque kind of ball, is only played by girls, boys don’t play it.
“The one is called netball and the other korfball.”
If some of you aren’t familiar with korfball, it’s very similar to netball only players are not allowed to bounce the ball and, according to Charlize, “you shoot in the most embarrassing way.”
