Nompilo Maphumulo not only an actress but a rising philanthropist as well.
Since she began acting on Uzalo, Nompilo has not only impressed critics but fans of the show as well with her role as Nosipho on the show. Here are just a few things we’ve come to learn about Nompilo thus far.
  1. The actress was born in Durban Kwa-Mashu and has always wanted to be involved in acting.
  2. Before acting on Uzalo she was involved a lot of theatre plays such as Sugar Daddies, The Weeping Candle, Madame President Musical and The Legend will never die
  3. Nompilo is also a mother of two beautiful children, a boy and a girl by the name of Neliswa and Nosfundo.
  4. As a young girl, Nompilo was very much involved in community uplifting projects in her township. 
  5. She works very closely with the KwaMashu Community Advancement Projects which aims at nurturing young people’s talents for future employment.
  6. According to Bona Magazine, Nompilo could not further her studies after matric, she then went on to work as a waitress and as well as a telesales agent at a call center.
  7. She’s also quite the avid dancer.
