Award winning singer and songwriter Zahara says she is sick and tired of people pulling her name down. The star was referring to media reports, particularly the latest drama involving her allegedly not paying her bill at Johannesburg club and lounge Meat Lounge.
“Maybe there is just a vendetta against me. I don’t know why people say such things about me. I have tried so hard to let people into my life. I’ve invited media to my house, so they can know who I really am. But week after week there is a ‘sources said’ story in the papers and I am sick and tired,” Zahara said in an interview with TshisaLIVE.
Zahara disputed claims that she is broke saying that she is helping a lot of people and projects using her own money so there is no way she is broke.
