Isibaya actress, Nomzamo Mbatha is probably the biggest actress in our country right now. We first met the 26 year old beauty when she was a finalist on a presenter search. Nomzamo has managed to make a name for herself in a short period of time, she is super talented and gorgeous.

Lets take a look at some of the things probably did not know about this beauty. Isibaya producers called her directly to come & audition for the role of Thandeka even though she had no previous acting experience. They had seen her on the MTV Base VJ Search.

Nomzamo is one of eight children; she is a middle child with five brothers and two sisters, her younger brother will make his big acting debut on Isthembiso.

She admitted to never wanting to get married after her failed engagement to Khaya Mthethwa. She dropped out of the University of Cape Town in her final year to pursue a career in the arts. Her dream acting role would be a chance to play Winnie Mandela or Queen Nandi (Shaka Zulu’s mother).
