Gabriel Temudzani aka Chief Azwindini, plays a very serious, strict and no-nonsense kind of a guy on Muvhango. We often see him barking orders to other people, and indeed he is feared and respected by many.
But in real life, it looks like Gabriel is actually fun and cheerful. Oh, and not intimidating at all.
  1. Gabriel was born February 10, 1980
  2. He was born and  raised in Tshivhilidulu in the Nzhelele area, in Venda
  3. He has been playing the Chief Azwindini character since 2000
  4. He began his acting career in 1995 and made his screen acting debut in 2000.
  5. In 2003 he acted in the feature Òlm A Diamond and Destiny, about the discovery of gold and diamond in Kimberly
  6. In 2009, he landed a lead role in the feature Òlm Night Drive.
  7. In theatre he has appeared in the show The Dog and The Night of Horror, for which he won a Vita award.
  8. He presents the magazine show La Famila, which also airs on SABC2
  9. He took over presenting duties on La Familia from Shandukani Nesengani, starting with Season 3 in 2010.
  10. Gabriel currently lives on the West Rand in Johannesburg.
