UYANDA Mbuli is an entertainment entrepreneur who needs no introduction.
Her entertainment brand goes beyond the African continent.
Uyanda’s brand new show, called Uyanda It’s On “gives” viewers a fresh and exclusive look into her fast-paced lifestyle as she expands and deepens the roots of her growing brand.
When SunBuzz caught up with Uyanda, she shared telling details about her dark battle with bad media publicity, which led her to attempt suicide.
“I had to retreat from the industry, but not from my dream.
“I just had to take a different direction and explore new possibilities in life.”
Uyanda said she was made uncomfortable in her own country but found comfort overseas.
“I’m just an ordinary girl from Kanyamazane, in Mpumalanga. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth.
“I came from really humble beginnings. I had to build all this for myself.”
Uyanda urged people to learn to think like an business person and not to focus only on conquering Joburg, because New York, London and many other places are also available.
“I invested in my own dream because I started thinking like an entrepreneur.
“I know what it feels like to be broke and I also know how it feels to have more wealth than you can imagine, and being significant and insignificant. I understand all these things and more,” she said.
