Rapper Nasty C has been pulled out of the SAMAs in the Best Music Video category.
His two videos Good Girls and Don't Do It have been dropped.
He now has 5 nominations from 7 and rapper Kwesta now leads the nominations with 6.
In a statement released RISA CEO Nhlanhla Sibisi said: "The SAMA prides itself with rich history of accountability and credibility. Our legitimacy is in our checks and balances including the public involvement and how swiftly we act."
The SAMA rules state that videos nominated should be played on television between 1 December 2016 and 31 January 2017 but Nasty C's videos Good Girls and Don't Do It which are nominated were uploaded on YouTube on 17 March 2017.
