Auditions: 4,3,2,1... castings now open for new season of 1's and 2's

SABC1's DJ search 1's and 2's has been renewed by the channel and the search for contestants is on.

The series, which pits hotshot DJ's against each other in a battle for the winning title, will be back in May this year and castings are happening as we speak.

Entries are happening online and will also be held in three cities in May. If you have what it takes to win the show, this is what you need to know:

Who can enter?

You need to be a South African citizen to enter, over the age of 18.

You must have a rack that you've produced yourself.

You can't have any contracts for your music or music career.

The auditions are happening in Port Elizabeth, Durban and Joziburg on these dates:

The prize

The winner will win the title of 2017 Master of Spin and production and DJ equipment and software to the value of R100,000.
