Academy award winner Jamie Foxx was reportedly attacked at a restaurant on Saturday.
According to gossip website TMZ the actor was out with friends at Catch, a celebrity hotspot.
A man approached their table and told the group they were too loud.
According to an eyewitness a scuffle followed when the man lunged towards Foxx.
Foxx caught the man in chokehold to diffuse the situation.
The man and his companions were reportedly kicked out of the restaurant.
