Twitter said it will ban anyone, including government officials and the future President of the United States, if they break its rules.
“The Twitter Rules apply to all accounts,” the social platform told Quartz.
In a statement given to Slate, Twitter highlighted some of the speech that is prohibited on its platform.
“The Twitter Rules prohibit violent threats, harassment, hateful conduct, and multiple account abuse, and we will take action on accounts violating those policies,” said Twitter.
