Actress Brenda Ngxoli recently went on another Twitter outrage explaining why she had to pull out of her long awaited role on SABC soapie Uzalo.
“Without delving into personal matters for all parties involved. I started feeling like exploitation was heading my way and I left,” said Ngxoli.
“I compromised, sleepless nights researching, Working, committed and in the end . . . I ran. I now know that producers love you when you are a slave and stupid,” she added.
Ngxoli is not one to hold back when it comes to speaking her mind. Earlier this year, she expressed her views on how she feels the South African industry has come to accept mediocrity.
“It’s high time we spoke out against mediocrity in the entertainment industry from crew, cast, writers and producers, so that we can all be great.”
