The Caster Semenya Foundation has joined forces with PrincessD Menstrual Cup to donate much-needed cups to school girls.
The campaign aims to help keep girls in school during their menstrual cycle.
Caster Semenya has urged people to donate towards the campaign, which relies on donations to purchase hundreds of cups to be distributed among disadvantaged girls.
"We kindly urge each and every one of you to contribute towards this initiative ! Go ahead and challenge your family and friends. Use your hidden fundraising skills - get creative. A little goes a long way. You can donate from as little as R50,00," read a poster shared by Caster.
Menstrual Cups will be donated to girls during a hand-over ceremony just before Christmas. The campaign has stated that regular stats of the number of girls who benefit from the campaign will be shared on social media.
