Joburg was beset with torrential rains on Wednesday afternoon, and among the many who were affected by the havoc, was actress Florence Masebe, whose home was heavily flooded.
Taking to Twitter soon after the flash floods, Florence revealed that her house had been filled with water, adding that she had to wear rain boots inside her home.In addition to the shock of finding her house flooded and her furniture floating around, she said that she tried hard "not to fall apart," given that she had "lost a lot" in the flood.
"I have no words. Just thankful that the children and I are safe. I have learnt not to question this journey. I'm a little overwhelmed and breaking inside. God knows better than I ever will. This too shall pass," she wrote, alongside a video showing the damage that the heavy rainfall had done to her house.

Took this from the kitchen window while waiting for rescue earlier. We watched our furniture float through the house. #Floods pic.twitter.com/SsMYxll81q
