A local photographer has captured up-close images of #FeesMustFall protests this week, showing students violently attacking security guards.
The images, shown below, were taken by Sullivan Photography, and posted to Facebook. They are used here with permission.
“It was terrible to see violence erupt on UCT Campus,” said the photographer.
“At no stage during the initiation of this altercation did private security provoke students. What followed was a few minutes of chaos.”
Multiple university students have been arrested this week following unlawful actions during protests.
