Poet and songstress Ntsiki Mazwai is once again the cause of a stir, this time her aim is Terry Pheto and South African stars plying their acting trade in the US.
Ntsiki has made it clear that she pushes the “black cultural movement” and that she supports the ideals, but that doesn’t mean she won’t take aim at those who don’t meet her expectations.
Guys….pls understand that for me getting a non black consciousness job in US is not progress…..i am about building BLACK GREATNESS— Daughter Of The Soil (@ntsikimazwai) October 5, 2016
Ntsiki went as far as to shade Terry Pheto on her role on America soapie, The Bold and the Beautiful:
Even when Terry got that part on The Bold and the Beautiful……that is not power for me. Please understand that 😊

I dont think that being in a low rated usa production is greater than being in a south african production ….at all.— Daughter Of The Soil (@ntsikimazwai) October 5, 2016
She said that as South Africans, we give America way too much hype, going as far as to say that we as South Africans “GROVEL” before American culture.
Just because something is american does not make it amazing. …u can miss mr on that narrative
