KAIZER CHIEFS midfielder, Hendrick Ekstein, is back in the limelight again for off-the-field games.
This time he’s said to have found love in a girl from Garankuwa, known as Thokozile “Tay” Kgosana.
Sunday Sun published a story last month about rumours of Ekstein cheating on his long-time girlfriend, Skeem Saam actress, Amanda Manku, who plays Lizzy.
The dribbling wizard, who has three kids with different women, denied breaking up with Amanda. He also denied cheating with a soccer babe.
A few days after his denial, Tay took to Instagram to confess to dating the player.
Sources close to Tay said she’s known for dating different soccer players.
One source said: “Before Hendrick, she was dating Menzi Masuku, whom she accompanied to the PSL Awards last season.
“After Menzi’s move to Chippa United, Tay didn’t waste time as she jumped to the Amakhosi star player.”
The source said Tay uploaded a video of herself on Instagram in Hendrick’s flat, showing his 27 jersey number and Chiefs trophies.
“Hendrick asked her not to upload pictures of him. So the only choice she had was to post pictures of herself from his flat,” the source said.
Another source told Sunday Sun: “Hendrick is enjoying the fame, girls and parties.”
The source said the way he carries himself is worrying and claimed he evens fakes injuries to miss gym, so he can spend time with the Tshwane beauty.
When contacted for comment, Hendrick first confirmed knowing Tay, but later called and denied it.
“My family is complaining. You’re destroying my reputation. I’m always at training and have never faked an injury.
That’s why I play regularly. I’m not into girls, I love diski,” he said.
Tay wasn’t available for comment.
Amanda said: “Please contact me about my work only.”
Masuku giggled when asked about his relationship with Tay. He then denied knowing her. “Who’s she? I don’t know her,” he laughed.
