A group of ANC members have occupied Luthuli House early Monday morning, reiterating their call for Zuma to be recalled and the National Executive Committee (NEC) to resign.
The group has also requested a consultative conference by December and to disband the fees commission, saying it undermined conference’s resolutions of free and quality education.
It is alleged that the group of campaigners include former Wits University Student Representative Council (SRC) president Mcebo Dlamini, Johannesburg ANC member Sasa Manganye and the former ANC Youth League national executive committee member Ntibi Modise.
However, a certain group at Luthuli House have started distributing t-shirts that defend Jacob Zuma and Luthuli House, stating “Don’t try this At Luthuli House”.
The ANC Womens League (ANCWL) has also come out to say that the march is driven by cowards.
“We feel that those are cowards. Those are not members of the ANC, they are afraid to participate in structures of the ANC”

1of the major problems with ANC is, every1 is a leader. You’d swear it doesn’t have a president. every1 talking but him #occupyluthulihouse— Sixo (@SixoGcilishe) September 5, 2016
A person who sees nothing wrong with what zuma is doing should hit the exit along with him. #OccupyLuthuliHouse— Secretary General (@IamNevuhl) September 5, 2016
I fail to understand ther use of such force and security in defending Luthuli House against their own. #OccupyLuthuliHouse— King Kazi (@ThandoAfrika) September 5, 2016
