FORMER Generations actress Denise Zimba is allegedly at loggerheads with her manager, Solly Moeng.
Sunday Sun sources claimed Denise clashed with Solly over money for her bookings – but Solly laughed off the claims.
But Solly says they haven’t fought in a long time.
“There’s no such thing,” Solly laughed.
“We work together on her brand. We do fight as friends and business partners, but we haven’t fought in a long time,” he said.
However, one source said during a recent trip she clinched a few gigs without Solly’s help, except for a basketball MC gig.
“She understands that for the gigs he sealed he must get a cut, but for those he knows nothing about, he can’t expect a payment,” the source said.
Another source said: “Denise announced a few months ago that she’ll be following her man to Munich, in Germany.
“She did so, and although she loves it that side, she’s really an entertainment person and has planned to come back home every two or three months to keep her brand alive.”
Denise allegedly lost her temper when one of the gigs she was booked to MC didn’t include a live broadcasting fee.
The source commented: “As a manager, he needs to be thorough and treat all his clients equally. Denise might be in Europe now but she’s from South Africa and she has a reputable brand she’s built over the years.”
When it was time for her to leave, the matter was allegedly still not resolved and the two is said to remain at loggerheads.
Solly is the previous head of content at Vuzu AMP and a Selimathunzi content consultant. He also manages Somizi Mhlongo.
Denise wasn’t available for comment as she’s currently in Germany, and failed to respond.
