TV superstar Connie Ferguson was caught up in a nightmare with other shoppers on Saturday.
According to SUNDAY WORLD, Connie was in Greenacres Shopping Centre in Port Elizabeth when a fire alarm suddenly went off. Fearing an armed robbery was taking place, all hell broke loose as shoppers
fled to save their lives.
Connie ended up hiding herself in the back room of a cellphone shop.
It turned out to be a false alarm, but Connie took a serious knock in the chaos. The former Generations actress said on Twitter that her Tumi purse vanished in the mad rush.
Later Connie tweeted that her precious bag had her “whole life in it!”, including her rose gold iPhone 6 Plus.
“This after surviving a stampede of people running away and all over the place from a presumed armed robbery in the centre! If it hadn’t been so scary it would actually be funny!” she tweeted.
Greenacres centre management later apologised for the false alarm and chaos.
