We spoke to the rapper after news broke that he is allegedly expected to pay R1million for “running over” a schoolgirl.
After a show down between the rapper, -Reece (real name Lehlohonolo Mataboge) and a Kwazulu-Natal mother, who was alleged to be claiming one million from the rapper, A-Reece has confirmed, that he won’t be paying the mother.
This is after the mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons told Sunday World that she is demanding R1m for the emotional trauma, medical costs and a deal she lost as a result of the accident her child suffered.
“First of all I don’t have R1million to pay the family. Where am I supposed to get that kind of money?” said the muso when DRUM contacted him.
“After all the child wasn’t really bumped,” A Reece added.
The rapper claimed that the child confirmed that she was pushed by a friend and all she suffered was minor injuries.
” I visited the family after the incident and agreed to cover the medical bills and pay for the crunches,” says A Reece.
“I am actually shocked that they went to the papers after we had an agreement,” said A-Reece.
