For years, they denied their relationship. So it came as no surprise when Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Mngoma also denied tying the knot or even being pregnant.
However, to answer the question many have been asking, a glowing Nandi went on stage to show off a growing baby bump at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week where she debut her new fashion range, Colour.
The next morning, her hubby also confirmed the news in an Instagram post, where he states that when they started dating over three years ago, they decided to keep their relationship private and not make a career out of it.
“As excited as we have been about certain things, as Africans by culture we wait until the right time to divulge such sensitive news as a pregnancy,” wrote Zakes.
Now we know why the reason they kept mum about their relationship.
