The ANC reported earlier on Thursday that they had found marked ballot papers outside of a voting station in Port Elizabeth.
However, IEC officials in a media briefing at 5pm said that the ballot papers were within their custody at the provincial results operations centre and recorded appropriately.
The IEC said there is nothing sinister about it and they were done with them.
