ACTRESS Khanya Mkangisa and Kwesta were allegedly seen fondling each other at Cocoon Lounge, in Sandton, a fortnight ago.
The two were guests at the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival launch and allegedly shocked guests as they allegedly got up, close and personal – in public!
“They spent the whole time together, not caring who was looking and this shocked us,” said one source.
Khanya denies smooching Kwesta: “I attended the Heritage Spring Festival launch, but I was shooting for Selimathunzi. I interviewed Kwesta, but we’re not dating. I’ll never date him.”
But another witness said: “Khanya hasn’t been lucky in relationships. If she’s happy with Kwesta, she should just go for it. What’s surprising is Kwesta has openly spoken about his love for his baby mama and long-term girlfriend. So where does the new affair leave his old one?”
Khanya’s career reached new heights after she left Yo TV, to join Selimathunzi, then Isidingo. She had an on-and-off relationship with Greed & Desire actor Matli Mahapeloa. Kwesta, real name Senzo Vilakazi, had a hit song, Ngud’, that reached over 2 million views on YouTube.
His album, Dakar II, reached gold status.
Kwesta’s manager, Leroy Khoza, said the two are not dating: “It’s just a rumour. They are just friends.
“Kwesta has a girlfriend. They didn’t arrive together, they just had an opportunity to share drinks together as friends,” he said.
