Wednesday night marked the last time viewers saw the character of Karabo Moroka on SABC 1’s Generations: The Legacy played by actress Connie Ferguson.
Connie Ferguson returned to the soapie in 2014 after she
was given an offer to come back on the show.
The return has clearly been short-lived as Connie directs all her energy and creativity towards her family business (Ferguson Films) with husband Shona Ferguson.
Generation’s executive producer – Mfundi Vundla expressed how he’ll forever be grateful for Connie’s contribution to the soapie.
However, it was the viewers of the show who took Connie’s exit the hardest.
Viewers used the hashtag #KarabosLegacy as they watched the end of an era.

On the bright side, at least this won’t be the last
time we see Connie Ferguson’s on our TV screens.
