Former Miss SA Liesl Laurie says even though her life has been pretty good so far, a few years ago she had a tough time and that brought about her biggest disappointment.
Speaking to Essays Magazine Liesl revealed her biggest disappointment as having lost her faith at some point in her life. “A few years ago I lost my faith in God. I came to a point where I had given up on the healing power of my faith and turned into someone I was not necessarily proud of,” she says.
Liesl says after that situation she found her faith again and has been sticking to it. “I now know to trust in God’s timing in all spheres of my life, no matter how difficult a situation may appear,” she adds.
