After the EFF leader Julius Malema came out saying record label and entertainment company Mabala Noise is getting most of its money through ruling party ANC, the company’s partner and DJ Bongani Dlamini (popular known as DJ Bongz) refuted the claims.
Speaking at a press conference earlier today Bongani said; “Mabala Noise is not doing business with any government (department)… We are not going to entertain that (the allegations). Our legal team is advising us on how best we can talk to the EFF leader to retract what he has said.”
Bongani went on to say that his relationship with Minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane is not in anyway based on or for the benefit of Mabala Noise.
“My relationship with Mama Nomvula (Mokonyane) is like a relationship between a mother and son. It’s not only weekend Mama Nomvula and (her husband) Serge are my parents. They are my political mentors. Whether it’s my birthdays, everything I do. I’ve continued to thank them… To raise a gallant revolutionary like I am. So today, I am where I am because [part] of the role they have played in my life,” Bongani explained.
Bongani added that Julius’s remarks may see Mabala Noise taking him to court.
