Controversial singer and actress Kelly Khumalo will soon be a movie star too: early next year she will star in a movie called Zulu Wedding, alongside Hollywood talent such as Darrin Dewitt Henson and Carl Payne.
We spotted the actress getting ready to shoot her scenes on the set of the movie in Sandton, north of Joburg. Kelly will play the character of Yvonne, who is friends with the movie’s female lead (played by former Generations actress Nondumiso Tembe).
“The movie is scheduled for cinema release in March next year, ” publicist Koketso Phala told us.
Other local names appearing in the cast include Generations: The Legacy’s heart-throb Vuyo Dabula, Bubu Mazibuko, Lorcia Cooper and S’thandiwe Kgoroge.
