Durban music and dance star Babes Wodumo is one of the most popular stars in Mzansi at the moment, her song Wololo with Big Nuz’s Mampintsha is the song of the moment and when she talks people tend to listen.
The 22 year old recently opened up to Grazia magazine on her decision to leave her modelling agency and pursue a music career.
“I believe you should know your worth and not get stuck in unhealthy situations just for the sake of being a part of something,” she said.
Babes said she left the agency because she believes in standing up for herself. “I’ve never been afraid to stand up for myself or my loved ones.”
“My decision to leave the agency was based on proving a point to myself- that I should never compromise myself, regardless of the situation,” she added.
