Wait! What? Did Mandla just propose to Lexi? In a short video clip released on Monday reality TV star Mandla Hlatshwayo seems to propose to his bae Lexi.
The video, a teaser for the upcoming second season of the couple's reality show, shows highlights of the upcoming season, including a snippet of a scene where the couple are on a boat and Mandla asks Lexi to be his wife.
There are also glimpses of a ring and commentary that teases viewers with the question "will they make it down the aisle?"
There has been speculation for sometime now that the pair are engaged, despite the couple shooting down the rumour several times.
Speaking sources last year, Lexi revealed that she has proposed to Mandla twice, but he had turned her down both times.
"People think I am joking when I tell them that I proposed to him (Mandla) in Cape Town and the second time in Johannesburg and on both occasions he said 'no'. I thought if I proposed he would buy me the ring. He is the one with a million," she told the paper.
At the time, she said that the couple already live like they are married and that she was "a loyal girlfriend who is waiting for the ring."
